Program Introduction

The Double Degree Program is a cooperative program with the University of Adelaide, Australia and Coventry University, UK. Adopting the "2+2" or "3+1" training mode, we have mutual recognition of learning process, courses, credits and degrees for double degree programs including Software Engineering, International Business and Finance. After completing the courses of both Chinese and foreign universities and obtaining credits mutual recognized by both sides, students are eligible to be awarded both Chinese and foreign degrees. Besides, our school and Curtin Singapore jointly carried out successive undergraduate and master degree program of Accounting with the “2+1+1” training mode. After completing the credits specified by both sides, students be awarded the bachelor's degree certificate and the undergraduate diploma issued by Guangzhou College of Commerce (GCC), and the bachelor's degree certificate and the master's degree certificate issued by Curtin Singarpore.

	Finance
	Accounting	4 years; "2+1+1" training mode		"2+1+1" mode is adopted for joint training with Curtin Singapore. After obtaining required credits specified by both schools, students will obtain the bachelor's degree certificate and the undergraduate diploma issued by GCC, and the bachelor's degree certificate and the master's degree certificate issued by Curtin Singarpore.	Curtin Singapore provides Australian model university education for local and international students. Curtin University ranked 180th in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) in 2017, ranking in the top 1% of universities worldwide, and Curtin University Business School was certified by AACSB as the best business school in the world.

In the past 140 years of education history, the University of Adelaide has established an excellent reputation for teaching and research. It ranked 106th in the QS World University Rankings in 2021 ,and its academic ranking is among the top 1% of the world's outstanding universities. Coventry University, founded in 1843, is a comprehensive public university, located in Coventry, West Midlands, England. 2. Adopting Chinese and foreign dual campus training mode and dual management gives play to complementary advantages. Relying on the school's abundant international education resources, excellent basic education resources and conditions, International College is equipped with an excellent IELTS teaching team and professional teachers who obtained master's or above degrees overseas, adopting international advanced teaching mode, and introducing high-quality educational resources and professional curriculum systems from foreign cooperative universities. During the period of studying at our school, students will implement a separate talent cultivation plan, with independent class arrangement and small class teaching. The professional courses will be taught in bilingual using the original English textbooks. Additionally, the cooperative universities will select excellent teachers to teach and provide IELTS tutoring to students, fully leveraging the complementary advantages of teaching between Chinese and foreign universities. During the study period at a cooperative university abroad, International College and the cooperative universities will be jointly responsible for management.

 

3. Flexible ways of study save the cost of studying abroad. Students can choose the "2+2" or "3+1" mode to study for double bachelor’s degrees in foreign cooperative universities. After completing the required credits mutually recognized by our school and the foreign cooperative universities, students can obtain double degrees from both sides in one or two years for less money and time, to improve their academic background.

 

4. There are many opportunities for further education and employment. On average, 40% of the program graduates choose to continue their postgraduate studies, and some of them have been admitted to one of the world's top 100 universities. Students choosing to study Accounting at Curtin Singapore can achieve successive undergraduate and postgraduate studies. They can be awarded bachelor’s degree certificates from both GCC and Curtin Singapore, as well as the master's degree from Curtin Singapore. Therefore, the program is low time cost with high quality. With high starting point for employment and multiple choices, graduates are able to work in domestic and foreign banks, securities companies, investment companies, the four major accounting firms, top 500 companies in the world, IT and telecommunications industries.

 

Diploma and Certificate

Students of Software Engineering program will be awarded the undergraduate diploma and the bachelor’s degree certificate issued by GCC, and the bachelor’s degree certificate issued by Coventry University, after completing the required credits.

 

Students of Finance program and International Business program will be awarded the undergraduate diploma and the bachelor’s degree certificate issued by GCC, and the bachelor’s degree certificate issued by the University of Adelaide, after completing the required credits.

 

Students of Accounting program will be awarded the undergraduate diploma and the bachelor’s degree certificate issued by GCC, and the bachelor’s degree certificate and the master's degree certificate issued by Curtin Singarpore, after completing the required credits.

 

Tuition Fees

Campus in China: According to the program, RMB 66,000 per academic year is required for the first two or three years. After going abroad, Chinese campus will charge RMB 10,000 per academic year tuition fees.

 

Overseas Cooperative Universities: The foreign cooperative university will charge according to the published fee standards, which is equivalent to approximately RMB 120,000-150,000 per academic year.
