On May 7th, the 2023 spring job fair for graduates hosted by the Employment Guidance Center of GCC and undertaken by the International College was held on the ground floor of the ninth teaching building, with the aim of practising the spirit the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China, carrying out the arrangements by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on "stabilizing employment" and "ensuring employment", seizing the critical period of promoting employment after the start of school day in spring, providing a platform between graduates and employers, and broadening employment channels for graduates.

26 enterprises which are located in the Pearl River Delta were invited to the job fair, covering industries like foreign trade, finance, logistics, education and etc., involving e-commerce, marketing, finance, translation, teaching and training and other different types of jobs, and providing 330 positions for graduates. At the job fair, to better promote employment and meet the different needs of graduates, such as consultation of employment, further education, enlistment, resume diagnosis, employment and entrepreneurship policy, various consulting zones and services were arranged by International College.

The job fair has been highly valued and strongly supported by the school leaders and the Employment Guidance Center. Guo Hang, vice president of GCC, came to the job fair to have in-depth exchanges with enterprises, share the ideas of talent training modes with employers, introduce and recommend graduates and the school. Teachers from the Employment Guidance Center and counselors from the graduating classes of the International College also came to the fair to communicate with the graduates, understanding their employment intentions and difficulties, guiding them on seizing opportunities and “taking a job before choosing a job”.
