In order to better carry out the work of students’ upgradation from junior college to undergraduate, improve the quality of students' preparation for the Unified Undergraduate Entrance Examination in Guangdong Province, enhance the confidence of junior college students, on December 14th, 2022, International College held a mobilization and experience exchange meeting for students who are preparing for upgrading from junior college to undergraduate through Tencent Meeting platform. Three outstanding students from Grade 2020 of International College were invited to share their experience in preparing for the exam, and the students from Grade 2020 junior college attended the meeting online. The meeting was presided over by counselor Deng Lili.

Deng Lili talked about the necessity of upgrading from junior college to undergraduate for students' future development from the perspectives of employment and job selection, and emphasized the significance of the upgradation in pursuing advanced studies. She explained in detail the regulations on the enrollment of general undergraduate programs in colleges and universities in Guangdong Province in 2023, reminding students to prepare the information needed for registration, determine the major of upgradation in advance, and prepare for the exam according to their own schedules.

At the meeting, three students who successfully passed the Unified Undergraduate Entrance Examination delivered speeches respectively. They shared their own experiences from the choices of schools and majors, examination preparation, examination skills, adjustment and arrangement on their mentality, study and life. They also reminded junior college students to set their goals as soon as possible, reasonably arrange time for revision, pay attention to learning methods, improve learning efficiency and strike a balance between study and life.

A good mindset with diligence is half done. Students should seize every possible opportunity, strengthen their confidence, work hard without fear of difficulties and make adequate preparations for the exam.
