China Representatives from Northern Arizona University Visited GCC

On May 17th, Wang Tianyi, the China representative of Northern Arizona University, and the delegation visited Guangzhou College of Commerce. Guo Hang, vice president of GCC and the director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Deng Yun, assistant director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and other commissioners met the delegation in the conference room of the International College.

Guo Hang introduced the development and achievements of the international education in GCC. He said that the college has been committed to exploring new areas of foreign exchange and cooperation, innovating international exchange and cooperation models, enriching international school-running resources and improving the level of international education. GCC is willing to cooperate with like-minded partners, strengthen communication and exchanges with other universities, jointly carry out more programs and projects, seek common development and work together with more excellent international universities, and help students broaden their horizons, get better employment and pursue further studies.

Wang Tianyi highly appreciated the achievements of the GCC international education, and gave an introduction about Northern Arizona University in the United States from the aspects of school-running philosophy, achievements, projects and characteristics. He said that Northern Arizona University has been actively exploring the paths of international cooperation that promotes students' all-round development. He hoped that during this visit, the two universities can reach a consensus and promote further cooperation.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed in-depth about policies related to cooperative education and teacher exchanges.
