To get ready for the new semester and to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of all faculty members, on February 23rd, the meeting for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year was held in International College. Zhong Yuanhui, secretary of the Party branch of International College, vice deans Hong Zhenhua and Yang Yueqing, and all faculty members attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Yang Yueqing.

At the meeting, Yang Yueqing introduced the new teachers to all the staff and invited them to give a self-introduction. Then, Yang made arrangements for teaching and scientific research for the new semester. She put forward clear requirements for the course guidance and teaching tasks in the first week, requiring all teachers to fully prepare for and well manage each lesson with strict teaching discipline and high teaching quality. Yang Yueqing emphasized that high-quality development and improvement of teaching quality are the focus of this semester, and the college will, as always, support teachers in applying for first-class courses and quality projects at the school level. She encouraged all faculty members to actively participate in scientific research, give full play to the advantages of alumni resources to promote school-enterprise cooperation, and help students complete high-quality practice, internship and employment.

Hong Zhenhua introduced the college's current cooperation and exchange programs with universities at home and abroad, and put forward requirements and hopes for all faculty members to carry out related work.

Zhong Yuanhui emphasized the importance of teachers' morality and responsibility in guiding and teaching students.

At the end of the meeting, Yang Yueqing wished all the staff a good start in the new semester.
