On the morning of September 2, the International College held the 2020 Faculty Conference in Room 306 of the Second Teaching Building. Vice President Jia Chaoof Guangzhou College of Commerce, Dean Guo Hang of International College, Vice Dean Long Haiying, Party Secretary Li Junpeng, Assistant Dean Li Cailing, Office Director Hong Zhenhua, and all faculty members attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Guo Hang.

　　At the beginning of the meeting, Guo Hang, on behalf of the International College, made a summary report on the work of the previous semester and deployed the key points of the new semester. The work report comprehensively summarized and reviewed the International College’s evaluation and transformation, top-level design, international cooperation, teaching and research, work regarding epidemic prevention, and college construction. New development goals and work focus of the new semester were put forward accordingly. Afterwards, Long Haiying made a detailed report on the talent training plan, teaching management, construction of the teaching staff and the construction of an online teaching resource platform. Li Junpeng put forward his opinions and suggestions on the “two studies and one doing”party building tasks, student ideological and political construction, and the construction of teacher ethics and style.

　　After the report made by the college’s leaders, Jia Chao congratulated the successful holding of the conference. While fully affirming the efforts made by the International College to actively promote the Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, he put forward three requirements for the future development of the International College: firstly, effectively do a good job in undergraduate teaching qualification evaluation; secondly, continue to promote Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, improve school quality, and deepen the concept of high-quality school running; thirdly, focus on cultivating professional and international talents.

　　Finally, Guo Hang made a concluding speech on this meeting. The faculty and staff of the International College will continue to carry forward the spirit of the college and push the construction of the International College to a brand-newlevel. The meeting ended successfully.
