Representatives from United College of Education, Singapore Visited GCC

On April 11th, Zhang Yuantao, president of United College of Education, Singapore, academic president Roy Chen, representative Li Zhi, Wei Jiangtao, head of Guangzhou Representative Office of CLPS visited GCC for further cooperation. Guo Hang, vice president of Guangzhou College of Commerce, Hong Zhenhua and Yang Yueqing, vice deans of International College and relevant members from International Exchange and Cooperation Office attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Guo Hang proposed to promote local quality courses to overseas, emphasizing the need of“bringing in” and “going out” to strengthen Sino-foreign educational exchanges and cooperation. He said that promoting local courses to the globe not only attracts more international students to study in GCC, but also provides them with opportunities to know more about China and promotes cross-cultural exchanges. Guo Hang looked forward to promoting the sharing of quality programs and educational resources through this meeting and exploring the synergistic development of Chinese and foreign education.

Zhang Yuantao introduced the strengths of programs in Psychology and Software Engineering in , and the local market demand for talents in related fields. During the meeting, Zhang Yuantao expressed his willing to deepen the cooperation with GCC in the long run, and hoped that the two sides would jointly explore advanced education philosophy and teaching methods to cultivate more outstanding talents with international competitiveness.

During the meeting, both sides expressed the willing to strengthen the exchange and cooperation and move towards a broader future together.
