On the afternoon of March 14th, the first session of the academic salon in the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year of International College was carried out as scheduled online, attracting many teachers and students.

The theme of this session is “Optimization Strategy for China's Strategic Oil Reserve Path”, which is lectured by associate professor Zhu Ziming. Strategic oil reserve is one of the effective ways to deal with short-term oil supply shocks (large-scale reduction or interruption). It serves the national energy security, aims at ensuring the continuous supply of crude oil, and has the function of stabilizing the abnormal fluctuation of domestic oil prices. In the lecture, Professor Zhu used quantitative analysis model to analyze the quantity and construction path of China's strategic oil reserves, and compared the role of tax tools in energy supply security.

In this semester, a series of activities of the academic salon of the International College will continue to carry out. Students and teachers are encouraged to actively participate in, communicate and make progress together.
