Profile:

Huang Ning, a member of the Communist Youth League, is a student from 2018 Sino-USA double-degree program between GCC and Bellevue University on the major of logistics management. He used to be the head of the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students project, the secretary-general of the Chamber of Commerce of Guangzhou College of Commerce, and the deputy director of the Promotional Department of the GCC Football Association. He received scholarships every academic year. When studying in Bellevue University, he got a GPA of 3.8/4.0 with an average score of 95. He was listed in the Dean's List, and was nominated to join the ONL National Honor Society. During the college years, he won 68 honor awards inside and outside the campus, including 12 national awards, 11 provincial awards, 3 municipal awards, 39 university and college awards. Additionally, he got two national innovation project approvals, two provincial project approvals on specialized funds for scientific and technological innovation and cultivation, and published three national journal papers, in two of which Huang Ning was the first author. Among the published articles, Research on Accurate Poverty Alleviation Strategy of Rural E-commerce in China with Rural Revitalization Strategy was published in Business News Publishing House. Research on e-commerce marketing mode of traditional furniture enterprises in the background of digital economy - taking Foshan Mishiman Furniture Co., Ltd. as an example was published in China Market, which is the core periodical of RCCSE and CHSSCD. In 2021, Huang was awarded the title of Technology Talent of "Touching GCC" of the year. In 2022, he was awarded the outstanding graduate of Guangzhou College of Commerce. At present, Huang Ning has received offers of postgraduate programs from 9 universities including University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, Boston University, University of Warwick and Durham University.

Message from Huang Ning:

I am grateful to the four years in college, during which I know what life is and how to fight for dreams; I am grateful to the teachers for their education and guidance on my development; I am grateful to every individual I’ve encounter, which makes me keep moving forward. We shall strive to win in the competitions, learn to express gratitude after winning, and believe that if we try our best, we will have a better self.

I graduated, but the bench beside the school way is still waiting silently; I graduated, but there are still footsteps flashing on the football field; I graduated, and two months later, a group of freshmen will carefully open the dorm rooms and start their new story in this college. Looking back on the road I have traveled, I feel upset about saying goodbye, I feel proud of not wasting time and I look forward to the future life. When we step out of the school gate, we shall firmly go towards our dreams and hope with strength. The future is right ahead of us, carrying our hope and youth.

 

Life in Sydney:

Sydney is a vibrant and diverse city with beautiful beaches and iconic attractions. As an international student, this is brand-new city for me, and I met a series of new opportunities and challenges.

As for school life, my previous study at Bellevue University in the United States has laid a solid foundation for me to adapt to the learning environment, learning methods and course requirements of University of Sydney. In additional to the academic life, I also joined the football club of the University of Sydney, and play football every week after class, which not only exercises my body, but also provides me with opportunities to make like-minded friends. While enriching the social activities, I also keep myself in a positive state to face various challenges.

The University of Sydney provides world-class education, and I attend lectures and seminars offered by the university in daily life. Participating in such activities expands my knowledge and improves my comprehensive ability. In this new environment, I look forward to having an unforgettable and wonderful time. The culture and diversity of Sydney will color my life abroad. I meet every new challenge and opportunity with enthusiasm and confidence.
