从北半球到南半球，从冬季跃入夏季，2025年世界百强名校之旅——阿德莱德大学澳洲文化与英语体验营正式启动！

1月5日夜晚，带队老师伍晨菲带领13位来自不同学院的学生，启程前往澳大利亚阿德莱德。经过近9小时的飞行，1月6日中午，学生们抵达了阿德莱德这座与北京时间存在两个半小时时差的南半球城市。迎接他们的是温暖的阳光与浓厚的文化氛围。

在阿德莱德机场，语言中心的Qihong Cai老师早已在等候接机，并引领大家前往阿德莱德大学语言中心参加热烈的欢迎仪式。

国际关系与学生体验主管经理Matt Rawes通过一场轻松有趣的小游戏，活跃了欢迎仪式的气氛。他向大家介绍了为期三周的丰富行程，其中不仅包括丰富的英语学习课堂与课外文化体验，还特别提到在交流的过程中学生展示中国文化的独特机会。他鼓励学生们不必畏惧犯错（Don’t be afraid to make mistakes），要大胆尝试，在享受生活的同时不断进步和成长。接下来，GEAP学术项目经理Chris Wasow为同学们阐述了在学习过程中将会遇到的一些挑战：如何在澳洲日常生活中使用英语(Use spoken English to meet day to day needs in Australia)，如何参与学术讨论(Engage in professional and academic discussions)，如何通过合作体验集体力量(Experience the benefits of working together with others)，以及如何更好地理解澳洲社会与教育体系(Learn about aspects of Australia society and education) 。课程的三大要素“积极参与”“讨论互动”“口头展示”成为了每位学生必备的学习动力。此外，Ms Le老师指导大家成功激活了阿德莱德大学的学生账户，并向同学们演示了如何使用学校的在线平台。

随后的校园参观环节，由Stella老师带领学生们穿梭于Adelaide Arcade与阿德莱德大学校园之间，学生们不仅领略了城市中心与校园的美丽风光还提前熟悉了上课路线，为即将到来的学习生活做好了准备。

第一周的课程正式开始，学生们迎接了来自Rani、Scott与Ismail三位教师的教学挑战。每天三小时的英语课程安排得紧凑而充实，课堂氛围也从初期的紧张逐渐变得活跃起来。

· Rani老师通过“小火车问答”式的互动方法，打破了同学们的初期拘谨状态，让大家在轻松的氛围中练习口语，同时也加深了彼此间的了解。

· Scott老师则组织了一次户外活动，鼓励学生们主动提出问题并分组进行“街头采访”。这次活动不仅锻炼了学生们与陌生人沟通的能力，还帮助他们克服了胆怯心理，真切地体验到了与当地人互动所带来的乐趣与挑战。

· Ismail老师则通过小组讨论的方式，让同学们围绕问题展开思考与交流，深入了解彼此的城市，并在这个过程中学习到更多的语法知识与语言运用技巧。

学生们从最初的羞涩与不安，逐渐转变为适应并自信地表达自我，课堂氛围也随着时间的推移变得愈发活跃。每位同学都在课堂上找到了适合自己的学习节奏，取得了显著的学习成效。

与此同时，第一周也是学生们与寄宿家庭初次接触的时间。他们纷纷表示，寄宿家庭的热情友好以及细心帮助让他们感到温暖和安心，为他们的全新生活提供了强有力的支持。

随着第一周的结束，学生们纷纷分享了自己的感受和收获：

1. 鱼同学：刚到阿德，我就被这里的环境吸引住了！很多草地和树，简直就是天然氧吧！这里的动物并不怕人。当你坐在草地上，或许会有鸽子来到你的身旁，仰头看一看你，再悠闲踱步。我的住家很友好，在我来的第一天，他们教我如何使用家里的器材。吃饭前，他们跟我聊了一会儿天。即使我的英文并不流畅，他们依旧认真地倾听。他们不会在意我的单词或者语法有什么错误，而是鼓励我勇敢地开口说出来。甚至，当我听到不懂的单词，他们会为我拼写出来，真的巨耐心！另外，我每次回家推开门都能闻到香喷喷的饭菜，幸福感直接爆棚！晚饭后我们会一起收拾餐具和聊天，大家都能参与进来，是来自家庭的那种温馨～阿德的课程很有趣，互动性强。老师的讲解得很生动，不仅会用声音模仿一些事物，还会画图帮助我们理解。在这里作业是很特别的。比如说在街头采访陌生人，这对于i人的我来说真的很困难，也挺有压力的。但当我尝试开口并得到他们的积极反馈时，我会很开心，原来跟陌生人开口说英语也不是一件很难的事情。我的口语提升得非常快，这里的一切都很棒，我很喜欢阿德莱德！

2. Rosy：阿德莱德是一个很美丽很适合我居住的城市（因为我来这后咽炎再也没怎么犯过了）。这一周的上课、生活让我收获颇丰，最显著的就是英语听说、交际能力可能会比以前提升了，也了解了不同的文化。我和住家相处很融洽，交流并没有想象中的难，饭菜也挺可口的，人也很热情，我们还相约这周末一起吃火锅。这里的人都挺友好，即使是散装英语也可以和他们玩起来。在这边的生活作息都很健康，三餐不落，十二点前就睡觉。来到这边，妈妈再也不用担心我的身体了。

3.Fiona：During my first week in Adelaide, I felt excited, happy, and a little nervous. I think Adelaide is a vibrant city, and the people here are very hospitable. The air is fresh, and there is plenty of sunshine, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. In class, I got to know my classmates better and learned some grammar. We also did an outdoor interview, which helped me practice my oral English and build my confidence.

Living with my host family has been a happy experience. They are very friendly and often ask for my opinions. They help me in every way they can. Although communication is sometimes challenging, we do our best to understand each other.

Overall, this first week has been a wonderful start to my adventure in Adelaide. I’m looking forward to the next two weeks, hoping to explore more of the city, learn more in class, and build deeper connections with the people around me.

4.老大哥：第一周的感觉很不错，虽然说在刚来的几天可能还要倒一下小时差,但是现在已经可以适应下来了，阿德莱德这个地方很单纯，空气很好，风景也很不错，这里适合养生度假，海滩也是非常的好玩。第一周的课对我来说是练习听力最好的适应期，跟当地人进行英语交流也逐渐能听得懂了。住家他们人很好，很热情，也特别会照顾人，我有事儿没事儿就会跟他们闲聊，也会帮他们一些忙，总之相处的不错。接下来想花更多的时间把整座城市探索一下。

5. Kosrrr：When I first arrived in Adelaide, the beauty of the city and the fresh air made me feel comfortable. The only downside of this place is its high cost of living. The first week was enjoyable, and the teachers' teaching methods were unique. They are very different from those in China. I was fortunate to live in Yugo with Yoki. She helped me buy food when I had a fever and was unwell. I was also lucky to meet a very good chaperone. She’s thoughtful and responsible. Without her, I wouldn’t have recovered so quickly.

6. Yoki：During these five days in Adelaide, I have experienced a refreshing sense of novelty. I didn’t stay with a host family but lived in the Yugo apartment. Here, I’ve gained more freedom and become more independent. I think Adelaide is a very tolerant city. My oral English isn’t fluent, so I order slowly, but the staff are always patient and try to understand me. The students in my class are shy, and the teacher makes an effort to take care of everyone, which makes me feel really good!

7. Elena：In the first week of coming here, I felt that everything was very good and smooth! I like the slow-paced life in Adelaide very much, which makes me feel relaxed. I think I'm lucky to meet this host family. My host mother is so lovely! I like her ver much! She helped me with all the difficulties I encountered in life, and everything I wanted would satisfy me. At the same time, she has no rules for living in her house. I live as I like. In class, I think all the teachers are interesting, and set up a lot of discussion, which can improve my spoken English. I hope the next week will go well too!!

在第一周里，学生们在挑战与磨砺中不断成长，逐渐适应了全新的环境，并更加深刻地体会到了澳洲文化与教育的独特魅力。随着新的一周的开启，大家满怀期待，准备迎接更加丰富多彩的学习与生活体验！
