Dear 2025 spring international students: Welcome to Guangzhou College of Commerce and start a brand new life. In order to help you smoothly embark on a new learning journey, we have prepared a detailed registration guide for you. Please read it carefully!

1. 来华前的准备 Preparation

（1）申请签证 Apply for a Visa

留学生需在所在国的中国使馆或领事馆申请来华签证。申请签证需要提供的文件包括您的有效普通护照、录取通知书、外国留学人员来华签证申请表（也称为JW202表）或短期来华留学生信息表（也称为DQ表）。在华学习时间超过180天（含180天）的学生，须持X1签证入境。在华学习期限在180天以下的学生，须持X2签证入境。如需了解您所在国家的中国使/领馆的信息，请参看我国外交部网站：http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/mfa_eng/wjb_663304/zwjg_665342/.

International students need to apply for a visa to China at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their home country. Documents required for visa application include your valid ordinary passport, admission letter, application form for visa to China for foreign students (also known as JW202 form) or information form for short-term international students coming to China (also known as DQ form). Students studying in China for more than 180 days (including 180 days) must enter China with an X1 visa. Students studying in China for less than 180 days are required to enter China with an X2 visa. For information about the Chinese Embassy/Consulate in your country, please refer to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China: http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/mfa_eng/wjb_663304/zwjg_665342/.

请注意：X1签证的有效期限为30日。持X1签证者必须在入境后的30日内申请办理居留许可，才可以在中国合法停留。因此，学校建议同学们按照规定时间来华，因为只能在学校报到后才有资格申请办理居留许可。

Please note: X1 visa is valid for 30 days. X1 visa holders must apply for a residence permit within 30 days of their arrival in order to stay legally in China. Therefore, the school advises students to come to China according to the stipulated time, as they are only eligible to apply for a residence permit after they have reported to the school.

（2）收拾行李 Pack Your Luggage

广州3月份的天气特点‌是昼夜温差较大，白天温暖，夜晚较凉，且多雨。3月份的平均气温在12℃-19℃之间。3月份广州的降水量也较多，小雨、多云和阵雨天气较为常见。建议携带保暖衣物与雨具。‌行李打包建议一切从简，学校周边有很多超市便利店，可以购买到你所需要的生活物品，可以从家里带一些随身用的毛巾、床单等物品，初到广州的时候可以使用。

The weather in Guangzhou in March is characterized by significant temperature differences between day and night, with warm days and cooler evenings, along with frequent rainfall. The average temperature in March ranges between 12°C and 19°C. Guangzhou also experiences considerable precipitation in March, with light rain, cloudy skies, and occasional showers being common. It is advisable to bring warm clothing and rain gear. When packing your luggage, it’s best to keep things simple. There are plenty of supermarkets and convenience stores near the campus where you can purchase any daily necessities you might need. You can also bring some personal items from home, such as towels and bed linens, which can be useful when you first arrive in Guangzhou.

路线一：自驾车者可从不同的线路进入广河高速公路(S2)→知识城出口→学校大门。

路线二：自驾车者可从不同的线路进入广汕公路(G324)→知识大道(原九龙大道)→学校大门。

Route 1: Self-driving drivers can enter Guanghe Expressway (S2) from different routes → Knowledge City exit → School gate.

Route 2: Self-driving drivers can enter Guangshan Highway (G324) from different routes → Knowledge Avenue (formerly Jiulong Avenue) → School gate.

搭乘地铁到校指引Guide to taking the subway to the school

学校位于广州地铁14号线支线汤村站，可在D出口、C1出口下车。

The school is located near Tangcun Station on Line 14 Knowledge City Branch of the Guangzhou Metro. You can exit from Exit D or Exit C1.

可关注微信公众号“广州地铁”，在“出行咨讯”-“出行信息查询”中查询从其他站点至地铁14号线（知识城支线）汤村站的出行线路信息。

You can follow the official WeChat account "Guangzhou Metro" and use the "Travel Info" - "Route Information Query" feature to check travel routes from other stations to Tangcun Station on Metro Line 14 (Knowledge City Branch).

3. 报到注册 Registration

（1）报到时间与地点

报到时间：2025年03月07日 8:30-17:30

报到地点：广东省广州市黄埔区知识大道300号广州商学院九教架空层

注意：学校不接受晚报到，请一定要在规定时间内及时到校注册报到

Registration time: October 12, 2024  9:00-17:00

Registration location: First Floor, Ninth Teaching Building, Guangzhou College of Commerce, No. 300, Knowledge Avenue, Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, P. R. China.

Note: The school does not accept late registration. Please be sure to register and report to the school in a timely manner within the specified time.

所有国际生需要按照学校下发的《2025年春季国际生注册报到注意事项》缴纳所有费用。提前转账的学生报到当日需提供转账证明。拒绝缴纳或者无法缴齐费用的学生，学校不予办理入学。

All international students are required to pay all fees in accordance with the 2025 International Student Registration and Check-in Instruction issued by the school. Students who transfer funds in advance are required to provide proof of transfer on the day of registration. Students who refuse to pay or are unable to pay the full fee will not be admitted to the school.

支付方式Payment method

1）现场缴费：支持现金、微信、支付宝及刷卡缴费，如使用境外卡（MASTER或VISA），必须保证有足够额度。

(1) On-site payment: Cash, WeChat, Alipay and credit card payment are supported. If you use an overseas card (MASTER or VISA), you must ensure that you have enough credit.

2）汇款缴费：选择汇款缴费的学生需提前向我校账户汇款，并保存汇款收据，报到时提供纸质版汇款收据。

(2) Remittance payment: Students who choose remittance payment need to remit money to our school account in advance and save the remittance receipt, and provide a paper copy of the remittance receipt at the time of registration.

（1）餐厅、食堂Restaurant and canteen

校园内共设置有多个学生食堂，分别位于广州商学院 2 栋学生公寓一、二楼的同乐园美食广场（学生第一，第七食堂），16 栋学生公寓一楼的学生第二食堂 （同德园），学生公寓 52 栋一楼、二楼的学生第四食堂（集菜菜幸福餐厅），22 栋学生公寓一楼的感恩食堂，北学生宿舍区的第五食堂（智慧食堂）、第六食堂 （同心园）、学术交流中心教工食堂。另在校园商业区还配套了品牌餐饮连锁店，经营南北风味、特色美食。

There are multiple student canteens on campus, located at Tongleyuan Food Plaza (Student First and Seventh Cafeteria) on the first and second floors of Building 2 of Guangzhou College of Commerce, Student Second Cafeteria (Tongde Garden) on the first floor of Building 16, Student Fourth Cafeteria (Jicaicai Xingfu Restaurant) on the first and second floors of Building 52, Ganen Cafeteria on the first floor of Building 22, Fifth Cafeteria (Smart Cafeteria) and Sixth Cafeteria (Tongxin Garden) in the north student dormitory area, and Faculty Cafeteria in the Academic Exchange Center. In addition, there are also branded catering chain stores in the campus commercial area, which operate northern and southern flavors and specialty foods.

中国建设银行校园 e 银行的自动取款机位于 20 栋学生公寓楼下。

（5）购物Shopping

学校设有多个综合超市，如 20 栋学生公寓一楼的京东超市和 38 栋学生公寓一楼的康购超市，在校园其他位置也设有天猫、水公馆、7-11 等便利店，另外在校内设有多家饮品店如星巴克、瑞幸咖啡、沪上阿姨、茶百道、霸王茶姬、蜜雪冰城、益禾堂等。

The college has a number of comprehensive supermarkets, such as JD Supermarket on the first floor of Building 20 student apartment and COMGO Supermarket on the first floor of Building 38 student apartment, and there are also convenience stores such as Tmall, Shuigonggan, 7-11, etc., and there are also a number of beverage stores, such as Starbucks, Luckin Coffee, Auntea Jenny, ChaPanda, Chagee, Mixuebingcheng, Yihetang, etc. on the college campus with a full range of varieties.

（8）信息化校园Informatized campus

我校已完成校园网络和校园一卡通系统的建设， 学生通过校园卡或微信、支付宝均可实现食堂、超市消费、图书馆借阅等功能；校园内已全面覆盖高速4G/5G 无线数据、语音服务；全校范围已覆盖WIFI16 无线信号，同一校园网账号电脑与手机均可实现全校漫游，并提供 50M 以上速率的上网服务和不同的运营商供各位新同学自由选择办理。

Our school has completed the construction of campus network and campus card system, students can realize the functions of cafeteria, supermarket consumption, library borrowing and so on through campus card or WeChat, Alipay, etc.; the campus has been fully covered with high-speed 4G/5G wireless data and voice services; the whole campus has been covered with WIFI16 wireless signals, and computers and cell phones with the same campus network account can realize roaming all over the campus and provide Internet access services with the rate of more than 50M and different carriers for new students to freely choose to apply.

6. 温馨提示 Warm Tips

（1）携带部分人民币现金Carrying some RMB cash

由于中国境内多使用微信、支付宝等线上支付方式，国际学生入境后需要先办理电话卡、银行卡等，所以建议国际学生提前准备部分现金便于临时采购和支付校园卡、燃气充值等相关费用。根据国家关于货币出入境的有关规定，中国公民出入境、外国人入出境每人每次携带的货币限额为人民币20000元。

Since online payment methods such as WeChat and Alipay are widely used in China, international students need to apply for phone cards and bank cards after entering the country, so it is recommended that international students prepare some cash in advance for temporary purchases and payment of campus cards, gas recharge and other related fees. According to national regulations on currency entry and exit, the limit for Chinese citizens and foreigners carrying currency into or out of the country is 20,000 RMB per person for each entry or exit.

（2）应用软件 Application

在中国的学习与生活之旅中，你会发现支付宝APP、微信APP、高德地图APP以及有道翻译官APP是不可或缺的移动应用。为了更加顺畅地融入这一环境，我们推荐同学们提前下载并熟悉这些应用。

In the journey of study and life in China, you will find Alipay APP, WeChat APP, Gaode Map APP and Youdao Translator APP are indispensable mobile applications during. In order to integrate more smoothly into this environment, we recommend that students download and familiarize themselves with these apps in advance.

①支付宝APP：经常用到的支付方式；

②微信APP：经常用到的聊天工具和支付方式；

③高德地图APP：经常用到的导航工具；

④有道翻译官APP：经常用到的翻译工具。

（3）语言 Language

It is advisable to learn some basic Chinese vocabulary, especially those related to transportation and daily life, in order to better adapt to life.

（4）穿衣选择 Dress choice

日常服饰：穿轻便、透气的衣物，如短袖、长袖衬衫、薄外套等。

正式服装：可准备正式服装以备特殊场合使用。

Daily clothing: Wear lightweight, breathable clothing, such as short-sleeved, long-sleeved shirts, light coats, etc.

Formal clothing: Prepare some formal clothing for special occasions.

（5）备用药物和生活用品建议 Recommendations for backup medicine and daily necessities

备用药物：感冒药、止痛药、肠胃药、抗过敏药等。

生活用品：转换插头、个人卫生用品（如牙膏、牙刷、毛巾）、洗浴用品等。

Backup medicines: cold medicine, pain reliever, gastrointestinal agents, anti-allergy medicine, etc.

Daily necessities: plug adapter, personal hygiene products (such as toothpaste, toothbrush, towel), toiletries, etc.

（6）我校暂无西北风味餐厅（Halal restaurant）与专门的宗教祈祷场地

Our school does not have any halal restaurant or special religious prayer space.

（7）预防电信网络诈骗指南Guidelines for the preventing telecommunications network fraud

①警惕“两卡”犯罪

“两卡”犯罪是指非法出租、出售、购买“两卡”的违法犯罪活动。犯罪分子通常通过“高价佣金”为诱饵收购“两卡”进行洗钱等违法行为。根据相关法律法规，“两卡”仅限于本人使用，不得非法出租、出售。否则轻则泄露个人信息，受到限制办卡等信用惩戒或行政处罚，情节严重的构成帮助信息网络活动罪，即通常所说的“帮信罪”。

①Be wary of “two-card” crimes

The crime of “two cards” refers to the illegal activities of renting; selling and purchasing “two cards”. Criminals usually engage in illegal activities such as money laundering by using “high commission” as bait to acquire “two cards”. According to relevant laws and regulations, the “two cards” are only for personal use and cannot be illegally rented or sold. Otherwise, it may result in the disclosure of personal information, credit penalties such as card issuance restrictions, or administrative penalties. In severe cases, it constitutes the crime of aiding information network activities, commonly known as the “aiding and abetting” crime.

②冒充熟人诈骗

诈骗分子首先通过不法手段获取新生的手机号等信息后，便会以老师、同学、朋友的照片作为头像，以其姓名为微信名，添加受害人微信，并设法拉近感情，以缴纳学费、帮忙付款等理由诱导受害人转账。

②Pretending to be an acquaintance and committing fraud

Scammers first obtain the phone numbers and other information of new students through illegal means, and then use photos of teachers, classmates, and friends as avatars, their names as WeChat accounts, add the victim’s WeChat, and set up close relationships to induce the victim to transfer money under the pretext of paying tuition fees, helping with payments, and other reasons.

③网络兼职刷单

犯罪分子通过网络平台推送兼职广告，以开网店需快速刷单提升网上好评、信誉度等为由，招募大学生进行网络兼职刷单，诱导学生多次转账后不予返现。

③Online part-time job brushing orders

Criminals use online platforms to promote part-time job advertisements, recruiting college students to engage in online part-time job brushing on the grounds that opening an online store requires quick brushing of orders to improve online reputation and credibility. They induce students to transfer money multiple times without cashback.

④不良校园贷

诈骗分子伪装成银监会工作人员或网贷公司客服，声称国家禁止大学生网贷，需要注销相关账户，诱导学生将网络平台提现的借款转入所谓的“清查账户”（实为诈骗人员的个人账户），或以“需要将‘学生账户’升级为‘成人账户’”为由，诱导大学生通过支付宝借呗等渠道贷款并向其转账。

④Bad campus loans

The fraudsters pretend to be CBRC staff or online loan company customer service, claiming that the country prohibits college students from making online loans and needs to cancel relevant accounts, induce students to transfer the loans withdrawn from the online platform to the so-called “inventory account” (actually the personal account of the fraudster), or “need to upgrade the ‘student account’ to the ‘adult account’”, induce college students to make loans and transfer funds to them through Alipay borrowing and other channels.

⑤助学金、助学贷款诈骗

不法分子通过非法渠道获取学生的个人信息，自称学校，财政局，教育部门或民政部门的工作人员，称有一项针对贫困学生的助学金已经转入银行，以领取贫困补助或退学费为名。让受害人毫无防备地在骗子指导下将卡内存款汇入其指定的账户上，从而完成诈骗。

⑤Financial aid and student loan fraud

Criminals obtain students’ personal information through illegal channels, claiming to be staff members of schools, finance bureaus, education departments, or civil affairs departments. They claim that a scholarship for impoverished students has been transferred to a bank under the pretext of receiving poverty subsidies or refunding tuition fees. Let the victim transfer the card deposit to their designated account under the guidance of the scammer without any defense, thus completing the fraud.

⑥虚假购物诈骗

骗子通过网络、短信发送虚假购物广告或者虚假服务信息，以低价销售的商品来唤醒被害人购物欲望，当被害人相中物品后，骗子会以各种理由让被害人脱离正规交易平台给其转钱，直到被害人掏空钱包为止。

⑥Fake shopping fraud

Scammers send false shopping advertisements or service information through the internet or text messages, using low-priced products to awaken the victim’s shopping desire. When the victim finds the item, scammers will use various reasons to make the victim leave the regular trading platform and transfer money to them until the victim empties their wallet.

⑦网络购物冒充客服退款

不法分子通过非法渠道购买网购客户的相关信息，冒充电商平台客服人员，声称其网购商品出现质量问题或冒充快递公司客服，称快递丢失，要对受害人进行退款和赔付。然后发送虚假退赔网站或二维码，要求受害人填写银行卡号，验证码等信息，盗刷受害人银行卡。

⑦Online shopping impersonating customer service for refunds

Criminals purchase relevant information of online shopping customers through illegal channels, impersonate customer service personnel of e-commerce platforms, claim that their online shopping products have quality problems or impersonate customer service of courier companies, claim that the courier is lost, and demand refunds and compensation from the victims. Then send a fake refund website or QR code, asking the victim to fill in their bank card number, verification code, and other information, and steal the victim's bank card.

⑧裸聊诈骗

公安机关提醒广大人民群众，倡导绿色上网，远离网络不良行为 : 不要轻信陌生人，不轻易下载他人指定的所谓 APP 更不要向陌生人泄露身份和家庭等敏感信息；发现被骗或者被敲诈后，不要选择沉默，要第一时间报警，积极配合公安机关调查取证，提供破案线索。

⑧Naked chat fraud

The public security organs remind the general public to advocate green internet and stay away from bad online behavior: do not trust strangers easily, do not download so-called apps designated by others, and do not disclose sensitive information such as identity and family to strangers. After discovering being deceived or extorted, do not choose to remain silent, but to report to the police as soon as possible, actively cooperate with the public security organs to investigate and collect evidence, and provide clues for solving the case.
